Family: Nymphalidae (brush-footed butterflies).
Geographic Distribution: Asia. Thailand to Malaysia, the Philippines and Taiwan.
Wingspan: 95-108 mm (3.75-4.5 in).
Larval host plants: Parsonsia spp., Cynanchum spp., and Tylophora spp.
Habitats: Largely costal in mangrove swamps.
Identification: Very large wings that are translucent white with distinctive black markings. Wings are often yellowing toward the base.
